When asked to go down the fence, Prada lives up to her name, getting down low to turn cows back. The red roan mare is owned by Tom and Melissa Sims and has been trained and shown by Clinton throughout her entire career. The pair earned second place honors at the 2023 NRCHA Celebration of Champions in the Limited Open Derby and won first place in the reining prelims at the NRCHA Western Derby and NRCHA Celebration of Champions.

After putting in a solid reining pattern and herd work, a blistering fence run earned Clinton and Karma championship honors in the 2023 SRCHA Pre-Futurity Limited and Intermediate Futurity and third place in the Open Futurity. Karma won over $38,000 in the first year of her reined cow horse career.

Clinton and Hulk earned a spot in the 2020 NRCHA’s Snaffle Bit Futurity Intermediate and Limited Open Finals. When the dust settled, the pair finished 15^th overall in the Intermediate Open and 6^th overall in the Limited Open. They earned a composite score of 634.5 and won $9,194.38. Clinton chronicled Titan’s training journey for the world to view in the YouTube series “Titan: A Legend in the Making.” Paired with Andrea Fappani, Titan won the 2018 Cactus Reining Classic Open Derby and was the 2018 NRBC Open Classic Co-Reserve Champion.

When Clinton bought Princess as an unstarted 2-year-old, he had no idea the prolific role the mare would play toward capturing his dream of breeding and showing reining horses and the impact she’d have on the reining industry as a whole. Princess was the earner of $77,002 throughout her show career and an NRHA Open Futurity and NRBC Open Derby finalist. While she stood out in the show ring, Princess left her true mark on the reining world as a broodmare. In 2009, she was named the Equi-Stat Leading Reining Dam, and her offspring have earned $801,185 to date. Her most notable offspring include Whizkey N Diamonds (lifetime earnings of $225,000+), Cromed Out Mercedes (lifetime earnings of $146,650) and Surprizentheprincess (lifetime earnings of $142,275). Although she passed away in 2012, Princess’ winning traits remain evident in Clinton’s breeding program today. Four of her daughters are included in Clinton’s standout band of broodmares. In 2016, Princess was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame.

Clinton rode Jackson to a 10th place finish in the Limited Open division of the 2013 National Reining Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity.

Clinton won the Limited Open Southwest Reined Cow Horse Association Cow Horse Futurity on Duke in 2011. Duke went on to win the AQHA World Champion Junior Working Cow Horse title with Shawn Hays in 2013.

Kit took Clinton to a fourth place finish in the 2011 Limited Open Southwest Reined Cow Horse Association Cow Horse Futurity.

Clinton rode Kat to a first place finish in the 2008 Limited Open National Reining Breeders Classic.

Sparkles was an NRHA Open Futurity finalist with Brent Wright in 2006, and placed in the Limited and Intermediate divisions of the 2008 National Reining Breeders Classic with Clinton.

Clinton won all three divisions (Limited, Intermediate and Open) of the 2006 Ohio Valley Reining Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity on Remelina.

Clinton and Chip won the 2015 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity’s rein work prelims in all four divisions: Open, Intermediate Open, Limited Open and Level 1 Limited Open.
